Geographically situated in the middle of six mountain ranges symbolizing the Lotus, Mt. Kailash is said to be the eternal adobe of Lord Shiva, the God of all Gods in Hinduism; the place where the first Jain Tirtahnkara, Rishabhadeva attained liberation from rebirth, the navel of the universe and home of Buddha Demchok who represents supreme bliss in Buddhism; and the place of all spiritual power in the Bon religion.

We fly to Gongar Airport and drive 65 Km. to Lhasa City and keep continue our overland journey to Mount Kalash . Each Night we stay at local Guest house and hotel. Same trip we can combine Hotel and tent.


Trip day to day itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu (1300 m.) arrival: Arrival in Kathmandu, Overnight in Hotel .Pick up from the airport/ Drive to hotel/ briefing/ Dinner.

Day 02: Visit Temples; Pashupati Nath, JalBishnu ( Bhudanilkantha), Shyambhu Nath.

Day 03: Fly Lhasa from Kathmandu, tour for three days in Lhasa.

Day 04: Lhasa, We will see the main relics of Lhasa - a Potala palace, Norbulinka, the first buddist’s temple of Tibet – Dzhokang, a statue of Dzhovo Shakjamuni. Overnight in hotel.

Day 05: Lhasa Trip to Drak Jerpa cave monastery. Here it is possible to see caves, in total 108 in which at various times lived and many known masters meditated. Now here there live some monks and there is a temple devoted to the Buddha of future Maytreya. In the evening visiting of restaurant with national dances.

Day 06: Drive Lhasa - Gyantse (3950).- higatse (3900) Further, our way lies in capital of a province of Tsang - Shigatse - residence Panchen Lama - the second ecclesiastic of Tibet. Early in the morning excursion in a monastery of Tashilhunpo (it is based in 1447), visiting of a temple of the Buddha of the future - Maytreya and also other temples of a monastery. Night in hotel.

Day 07: Drive Shigatse - Lhatse (Altitude 4050 m.) the journey today brings you over two high passes with fine views. For overnight we stop in the town of Lhatse.
* Here you will meet your Nepali staff for your onward journey.

Day 08: Lhatse- Saga- /4450m 250 Km, driving day over the sandy and rocky land of Tibet, other things like lake, nomads chasing thousands of yaks and sheep keep you busy. By the late afternoon you will cross Bhramha Purtra River way to typical Chinese and Tibetan town, Saga for night.

Day 09: Drive Saga- Paryang (4600m) 86 km 6-7 hrs Jeeps and trucks roll on the wide valley following rivers and grazing land of yaks and sheep. Far south you can see snow covered peaks near by you, lots of rocky peaks and sand duns give you an ideal world. Depends on season, nomads and other mobile shopkeepers are attired by beautiful traditional costume, waiting your arrival with hot tea and other supplies along with big smile.

Day 10: Drive Paryang to Manasarover (4558m) 277km 8 hours The longest driving day starts with full of excitement, by the late afternoon you can have the first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Manasarovara. Hore, a small village nearby Lake Manasarover, we will spend a night there.

Day 11: Morning Puja and drive to Tarchen (14975ft) 40km: Manasarovara is the lake of compassion, tranquillity and bliss. After completing the memorable morning Bath and Puja we will be heading towards Tarchen. It is considered as a base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama.

Day 12: Trek to Dehara Puk/5000m It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feeling that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessing to you. Time to time the face of Kailash Parbat will be keep on appearing. For 15 km trail it takes almost 7 hrs.

Day 13: Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage Yatra with Dolma-La (pass) of 18600ft between two valleys: Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal while your steps go closer to the pass. Once you reach the top, just do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation to forget yourself. Once your steps go down, Parvati-stal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By the late afternoon you will arrive Zuthal Puk (the cave of Miracles. The great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here).

Day 14: End of Kailash Parikrama and drive to Tarchen. After walking 3 hours, all the driving crew will be waiting your arrival. By the late afternoon you will be at your lodge/camp.

Day 15: Drive to Shailoon gumba/ explore the inner Kora. (if physical fitness can go to inner Kora means Sapta Rishi Cave, Ice Lingam, atam Lingam,Nandi and austad path) Over Night hotel at Tarchen.

Day 16: Drive to Manasarovar explore Mansarovar / full moon day camp bank of manasarovar. (one day extra incase of natural calamities, fixing horse for Kora might be over booked )

Day 17: Drive back to Dongba /7 - 8 hr. Over night

Day 18:Drive back to Nylam

Day 19: Drive back to Kathamandu 150km 6-7 hours

Day 20: On time transfer to airport fly back home.

you may stay longer at own cost and we can arrange for you at USD $ 171 for the 1 hour magical mountain flight (Everest/Annapurna/Langtang).

  3. Any additional expenses caused by reasons beyond our control such as natural calamities, flight delays, rescheduling or cancellations, accidents etc.
  4. Tips to drivers, hotel staff.
  5. Extra cost of transportation, Porterage etc involved due landslides, snowfall.
  6. Services other than specified. Extra days stay at Kathmandu / any other place.
  7. In case of natural calamities i.e. political unrest, cancellation of tour, landslides, landslide & other uneventful event the extra charge for porters and transportation should be borne by you at the spot.
